Andorra

Pyrenees Paradise

Andorra boasts one of Europe's best snowboarding destinations as it is has fostered the sport since the 1980's. Located in the Pyrenees Mountain Range, Andorra is a self-governing principality under the joint sovereignty of France and Spain. The country itself is relatively cheap compared to the larger and more populated destinations in the Alps, but that in no way means the resorts and facilities are of lesser quality. The cost-benefit ratio is through the roof, especially for the budget travelers that we are. With a large influx of upgrades and money being deposited into Andorra's winter resorts over the past few years, the country has gone from just a budget destination to a legitimate top end bargain. PLUS WE HEAR THE PARTYING IS CRAZY!!!

Soldeu, Andorra

Soldeu will be our second to last stop on this Eurasian Trek. With the largest ski/snowboard area in the Pyrenees mountain range, this resort will be the ideal to showcase the skills we acquired acround the world. Soldeu has been named by numerous publications as having the best terrain in Andorra. In addition to the riding, the town itself should be a treat as well. Accommodations, food options, and nightlife are plenty in this winter getaway as the resort has truly transformed itself into a snowboarding hot spot. With endless terrain to ride, we are hoping that our bodies can hold up after the tourcher of the Alps and the Himalayas. We would hate to be too exhausted to hammer this gem right. Maybe we will have to pace ourselves.....YEAH RIGHT!
