Jasna
Our journey takes us through a hidden gem in Slovakia's revered mountainside town Jasna, known locally as Chopok. A tree lined resort nestled in the low Tatra Mountain Range with stunning surroundings and factastic prices are the first things that will hit you about the resort. Its renowned scenery and tree laden landscape is perfect for both intermediate riding and relaxation. With the piste terrain rather limited, several hours of hiking and back country exploring are in store for this locale'. Research has shown that when off-piste the powder is truly unreal. However, mingling with locals in order to find out all the secret shred spots is imperative while on Chopok. Rumor has it that the friendly Ukrainian boarders along with the local Burton team riders are very helpful and informative. Heading to smaller scale mountains and towns is usually the best traveling anyone can do. The feel is homey and the crowds tend to be much smaller. We have a feeling that Jasna is going to out do all of the expectations.
